WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Our preferred method of payment is check. We do accept credit cards; however, we charge a 3% convenience fee.

CAN I ORDER A SAMPLE TOWEL, AND IF SO, HOW?

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF YOUR TOWELS?

Our custom woven towels are the thickest, highest quality towels available on the market, as the weight per dozen (on each page) communicates. Our towels are a premium quality product. Once you feel a sample, which we’re happy to send to you, we’re confident that you’ll understand what makes our towels unique.

ARE THERE LOW RUN FEES?

Only on towel orders of fewer than 100 pieces.

ARE YOUR TOWELS “REVERSIBLE”?

No, although our 2-color towels have that appearance. Click here to view the back of a 2-color towel to compare to that of the back of a 3-color towel.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TERRY LOOP AND VELOUR FINISH?

With the terry loop finish, you’ll see tiny loops on both sides of the towel. With the velour finish, we “shear” off the very tips of the loops on the top side of the towel, creating an incredibly soft, luxurious feel. Click here to view the difference.

HOW HEAVY ARE YOUR TOWELS?

It depends on the size of the towel. All of our towels are woven with the same “thickness”, which is an incredibly premium weight. The “cheap” beach towels people are used to seeing at beach stores can be 8, 10 or 12 pound per dozen weight. Our beach towels are typically at least twice as thick. Our per dozen weight is listed on each specific page for that product.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST STANDARD SIZE BEACH TOWEL?

Our most commonly ordered beach towel size is our 30×60, followed by 34×66.

WILL THE TOWEL SHRINK IN THE DRYER?

Our towels are made with 100% cotton, which is susceptible to shrinking at higher drying temperatures — just like cotton shirts or pants. We recommend drying on a lower heat to retain maximum size.

IF I WASH MY TOWEL, WILL THE COLORS BLEED?

No. Our yarn is dyed and washed thoroughly to ensure an absolute minimum chance of bleeding. However, we cannot guarantee there won’t be any bleeding. Washing red towels (or red anything, for that matter) with your whites is not recommended.

HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?

Simple, go to our get a quote page and complete the form. During the business week, we typically get a quote sent out within 24 hours. If you submit a request over the weekend, expect to see a quote on the following Monday.

HOW QUICK IS YOUR TURNAROUND?

Turnaround time depends on the season, how busy our looms are, and does not include time in transit. It is measured once a proof is approved and your order placed into production.

Turnaround time is subject to change given order frequency at a given time.

WHAT IS A 10% OVER/UNDER POLICY?

When producing a high quality, 100% completely custom product like our towels, it’s not possible to guarantee an exact quantity. There are a number of stages (weaving, hemming, shearing) when a towel can become defective. We always place enough fiber on our looms to cover out expected defective product which we do not send to you. This will leave us with either a few more or a few less towels than the actual order quantity. We are typically within a range of 3-5%, however our acceptable tolerance is 10%. Therefore, if you order 100 towels, you may receive as few as 90 or as many as 110. We ensure that ALL personalized towels are created, so if you order 100 personalized towels, you’ll receive at least 100 personalized towels. However, you may also receive additional “blank” towels if our machinery is running smoothly, as we may not need those “extras” to make up for defective towels earlier in the process if they don’t occur. We understand this may be a little confusing, so please don’t hesitate to call us if you still have questions. We’re happy to explain it further.

WHAT IF A TOWEL IN MY ORDER IS DEFECTIVE?

Please give us a call at (800) 614-8130 to discuss. We’ll most likely request that you send it back to us for inspection to ensure it is defective. We stand behind the quality of our products 100% and if your towel is in fact defective, we’ll refund the cost of that towel, or, if there’s additional extras that we didn’t send initially, we’ll replace the defective towel at no cost.

CAN I PLACE A RUSH ORDER?

The answer to this question is almost always no. However, depending on the color of your towel, it may be possible to move your order along slightly quicker than normal. This is done entirely on a project-by-project basis.

CAN I USE MY OWN LABELS?

Yes, you can. In most cases we will just hand stitch them into the towel for a minimal additional fee.

ARE YOUR TOWELS PRINTED?

No. Our towels are 100% woven. Your logo, graphics or design actually are the towel itself, which makes for a much nicer looking and feeling towel that lasts a long time and doesn’t feel scratchy against the skin. This also means that you can utilize the entire towel for your design.

DO YOU OFFER EMBROIDERY?

No, we do not.

DO YOU OFFER ANY PRINTING SERVICES?

No, we do not.

I NEED DESIGN HELP, IS THERE A FEE?

No. If you need design assistance, we’re happy to put together an initial design presentation for you and work with you on developing a design that you like.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A LOGO OR ARTWORK?

Our design team is more than happy to assist you in designing a custom towel that you love. The first hour of design time is free.

WHERE IS PERSONALIZATION LISTED ON THE TOWEL?

As long as there is adequate room for the names, it can go anywhere. It just needs to run vertically or horizontally, not at an angle.

HOW MANY CHARACTERS CAN PERSONALIZATION BE?

It depends on where it goes and the amount of space the design allows for, but our rule of thumb is approximately 27-30 characters, including spaces.

HOW DOES PERSONALIZATION WORK?

You can personalize as many or as few of the towels in your order as you would like. We require an Excel document with the names listed in a single column exactly as you’d like it to appear on the towels (ALL CAPS, First Letter Capitalized, all lowercase, etc.). If you have the same name going on multiple towels, repeat the name in the list for as many towels needs to be created for that name.

ARE THE PERSONALIZED TOWELS EMBROIDERED?

No, the names are woven directly into the towel like the rest of the design. This allows the name to be at a substantial size and legible from a distance.

DOES THE BACKGROUND COUNT AS A COLOR?

Yes, it does.

WHAT COLORS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE?

WHAT IS A TWEED PATTERN?

A tweed pattern can be achieved by “mixing” or “alternating” fibers when weaving the towel. It creates a unique look and effect. See a sample by clicking here.

WHAT IS A JACQUARD BORDER?

A Jacquard border is a special weaving technique taking full advantage of our jacquard looms. In a small strip, we can utilize up to 6 colors to weave an intricate design. The primary area of the towel is limited to 3 colors, however it’s possible to use up to 6 colors in this space. Great for highlighting a special message or reproducing a detailed logo that’s integral to the design.

Absolutely. Although international shipping is more expensive, we’re happy to work with you to find an acceptable shipping solution.
